[Two books! One is a book about the history of magic in Ellipsa, how it was discovered, how people learned to practice it, the uses of enchantments in older days, etc.

One is a romance novel where the male lead is a robot. Yes, it is explicit. Yes, you can tell that the author put a lot of thought in how a robot and a human would bang. The actual relationship is very sweet though.

Also included: some Pokemon treats.]

All he needed to hear to walk into their shared bedroom at that, leaning over as a hand cupped one side of Turo's face- all to press a kiss against his forehead- "The critters are all worn out and down for the count.

"Got something for you."

Smiling, leaning slightly into that hand, that kiss.

To think, so much had changed in the past year... that he'd be graced with Jack's smiles more and more often.

"No complaints from our menagerie?"

A slight tease in his voice, but, tilting his head slightly.

"Oh? You did not have to..."

All the more reason he did it- even knowing Turo would always make time for him, Jack still wanted to be respectful of the man's time; even with them both at home together. Some things need to reach a point to be put down, while others were easier to set aside.

Then there was a quick press of a kiss against lips before Jack was leaning back, and going for the closet where he tucked away an off-white -almost cream colored- box with a pearl-like snowflake pattern dancing all over it.

All topped with a purple ribbon to keep it closed, tied in a very neat bow. Had it hidden behind a few things he knew wouldn't have been moved.

He walked back with the box in hand- "Didn't have to, no, but I wanted to. Here, can go ahead and open it."
